Spouse of First Responder Event
Caring for Those Who Care Most.
Stress prevention and management is critical for First Responders to stay well and to continue to help in any situation. Thankfully, there is a lot of attention paid to helping and supporting our First Responders.
But what about the people left at home. Wondering. Worrying. Then trying to accept and be there for their loved one who is dealing with the upset and stress of their job? The spouses of First Responders require support as well.
Horses provide a unique and active way to manage stress and see positive effects. Join us for an informative and experiential introduction to equine assisted wellness programs for the Spouses of First Responders. Make your well-being a priority.
Clarity. Focus. Effective coaching, unique to your group.
Equine assisted learning (EAL) workshops offer experiential exercises designed to positively impact people in a unique and effective way.
Incredibly perceptive and sensitive to our emotions, horses can-not over-think a situation. They provide immediate, honest reactions to their handler’s emotions.
Through the behaviour of the horse, facilitators have a unique look into the client’s viewpoint, gaining insight into a world the clients themselves were not even aware of.
Each workshop is designed with the client’s priorities in mind. This may include topics such as relationships, collaboration, team building, leadership, performance, personal well-being, and more.
Workshops are offered in half-day, full-day, multi-day and multi-week formats. Contact Linda to discuss your needs or to arrange a visit to meet the horses and discuss your workshop.
