As Director of Marketing and Lead Wrangler, Shawna divides her time as she works tirelessly behind the scenes as well as directly with our horses and clients.

Shawna loves to connect with people, share her passion for horses and offer her creativity, organizational skills and kindness through her work.

You will find Shawna hauling saddles, leading horses and teaching people how to halter a horse, lead safely and get it ready to ride. She knows each of our horses well, is aware of the herd dynamics and is a strong partner in both our riding and equine assisted learning programs.

Shawna originally came to Emerge Equine as a client to pursue her dream of having horses. She soon felt comfortable, welcome and at home with us. She spent time with all the horses and began to brush up her riding skills on Rock. Shawna’s gentle manner was challenged by Rock’s determination as a smart, headstrong mare, encouraging Shawna to connect with her own leadership style and inner confidence.
