The body heals with play, the mind heals with laughter, and the spirit heals with joy.~ Proverb
A regular rider here at Emerge Equine, we are delighted to welcome local Yogi Tara Nichols as she leads us in a gentle yoga practice. Welcoming, accepting and fun are descriptive of Tara’s style. Whether you practice yoga on a regular basis or this is your first time, you will be completely welcome and encouraged to participate in a way that supports your wellbeing.
Tara’s commitment is to provide a space for you to flex your body, free your mind and find your soul.
Tara is a wonderful, caring individual who bring light to the room every time she smiles! The classes are so enjoyable, effective and energizing.Cory Skrypnek
Sound Bath with Liz McCallum
Raise your vibration as sound bath facilitator Liz McCallum joins us from Grande Prairie, AB to provide this moving and unique experience. Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls have a profound effect on us mentally and physically. Sound meditation uses sound as a tool to cultivate and support deep relaxation and create a gentle, yet powerful experience that heals the body, clears the mind and heightens your meditation practice by helping you be present.
The Alchemy singing bowl is said to have incredible healing power as its sound has a unique ability.
The soul always knows what to do to heal itself. The challenge is to silence the mind.~Caroline Myss
Equine Facilitated Sessions
Our equine partners reflect your feelings and emotions, providing insight, clarity and freedom. Each session features unique exercises designed to empower people as they move forward in life. Join Equine Assisted Learning Personal Development Coaches Linda Hopp and Tiana Folwark, along with award winning Donelda Laing for this unique and empowering experience.
Experience this unique approach to working with humans through horses. Through horses, we promote mental health, well-being, balance, connection and fun in a caring outdoor environment.
We will also have the opportunity to simply be amongst the horses as these magnificent creatures graze and move about the pasture.
Walk with us as we move through the grass in our Walking Labyrinth with facilitator and Labyrinth designer Donelda Laing.
Labyrinth walking is an ancient practice used for spiritual centering, contemplation, and prayer. Entering the serpentine path of a labyrinth, you walk slowly while quieting your mind and focusing on a spiritual question or prayer. This will be a personal experience for each individual who chooses to participate in the activity.
We will enjoy a variety of wellness activities through the day, along with a healthy “bag lunch” provided by Charly Kelly of LunchLove.
