A Six-Year-Old Stumbles

Imagine having a prosthetic leg. Imagine being a 6-year-old boy. Do you think it would take some time to gain control over your body and your movements? How would that impact your confidence?
Now… imagine being with a 900-pound horse… you have her following you, sniffing you, being close and gentle. The vulnerability, excitement, aliveness!!!!

Yesterday, Rock showed the most loving connection with just such a little boy. He arrived quite scared, but as he moved around the arena, his demeanor transitioned to one of delight and joy. The smile came across his face and it was one of the most beautiful things to see!!!

“I loved Rock and how she was with him. He tripped a couple of times and she didn’t even flinch. I was very impressed with both Chip and Rock.”

This comment from a client who’s little boy has a prosthetic leg warms my heart! We are fortunate to have horses that are trustworthy and solid. They enable confidence to grow where it might otherwise be missing.

Rock is an incredible horse. Her power comes from within. She’s intuitive, confident and intelligent.
